La Cachette is an idyllic ocean-view Caribbean retreat located in the private Whale Bay community, close to The Baths National Park on Virgin Gorda. Perfectly Positioned La Cachette is directly adjacent to south eastern corner of The Baths National Park (ie: NOT the busy beach area!) ensuring privacy and tranquility for a life time! With a name that means ‘hideout’ in French, this three-building villa on the unspoiled southern tip of Virgin Gorda is the ideal place for privacy and relaxation. The Main House The main house has a spacious, open-air living area with three large ceiling fans and Spanish cedar louvered doors opening onto a large wraparound deck. Custom-designed teak furniture and colourful cushions reflect the idyllic Caribbean island style. It includes a den and powder room, wifi (available across all buildings), and a kitchen fitted with high-grade stainless steel fridge, dishwasher and gas-fired range, as well as a barbeque patio. Two dining tables offer either indoor or outdoor dining. The decorator furnished master bedroom stays cool in the island breezes and has an ensuite bathroom with dual outdoor shower, and walk-in dressing area. The Guest House The guest house overlooks one of the two pools at La Cachette and has a generous covered porch.There are two spacious bedrooms with lovely décor and wooden louvered windows. One has two twin beds (which can be made up as twins or as a king) and the other has a queen size bed. Each bedroom has its own bathroom with a glass enclosed outdoor shower. The Cottage The cottage is a completely self-contained villa with a fully equipped kitchen, combined living and dining area, covered deck and a barbeque patio. La Cachette was completely re-modelled following Hurricane Irma and the results are fantastic! This is essentially a brand new home.
