About Me

Ava Penn was born and raised on St. Thomas, and has been a licensed real estate agent with Coldwell Banker since 2011.
Ava’s professional career extends over 28 years in government service; and she is currently employed at the Virgin Islands Port Authority as the Director of Financial Affairs. Ava received her Master’s Degree in Public Administration and Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a minor in Marketing, both from the University of the Virgin Islands.

Her community involvement spans many years. Ava has previously served as a board member of the St. Thomas Federal Credit Union, Virgin Islands Public Television System, president of the Joseph Sibilly Elementary School PTSA, and volunteer with the the Virgin Islands Carnival Committee. Ava loves her Virgin Islands home, and welcomes others to come and enjoy all that our island living and hospitality have to offer.
