Doreen’s illustrious, over 30-year career includes around the world experience in the dynamic hospitality and real estate industries. While living and working in Switzerland with her late husband, she was able to learn more about the European markets. She operated and managed Roberts Grove Hotel in Placencia, Belize;Indura Beach & Golf Resort in Honduras; and served for 17 years as the Managing Director of Cuna de Vida, in Panama. The latter position presided over several hotels throughout Panama including Coral Lodge in San Blas, Red Frog in Bocas del Toro, and The Point in Contadora. Within the resorts, real estate discussions, negotiations, and speculation were intricately blended with the day–to–day operations. For 6 months prior to 2020’s events, Doreen moved back home to Grand Turk to manage and operate the Sunflower Oasis Hotel. Realizing and recapturing her passion for the industry, Doreen is now back in the real estate market – pairing her organizational, detail–oriented, enthusiastic mindset with her cheerful, warm, charming demeanor and infectious smile!

As an indigenous islander herself, Doreen is well-versed in the culture, food, and history of the Turks & Caicos and is always elated to share her knowledge.  She is well–known and highly regarded throughout Turks & Caicos, and throughout her many worldwide travels, Doreen has taken every opportunity to promote the beauty, charm, lifestyle and history of Turks & Caicos.

While working for herself, Doreen has learned that entrepreneurship takes a lot of time, hard work, self-motivation, and dedication. She intends to take these same qualities back into the real estate market to continue striving to delight her customers and master her craft.

Doreen was born on the island of Grand Turk. She is a devoted mother of two beautiful children – Alexandria and Valentino – and a widow. Alexandria lives in Pennsylvania, working as an Affiliate Operations Specialist. Valentino is attending college in Orlando, Florida where he is studying Business Administration.
