A five-year stint in the Royal Air Force took Woody to England and Germany, giving him the opportunity to travel extensively through Europe, including Scandinavia. After leaving the RAF, he trained in the UK as a croupier, returning to the Bahamas in 1989 for a short period in the casinos.
Woody worked on his Uncles lobster trapping boats for several years, working his way up from lowly deckhand to captain and finally owning his own boat, Double Trouble.
In 1995, Woody returned to Exuma to work at his father’s heavy equipment business, building roads and docks, clearing land and dredging sand.
Woody then obtained his Bahamas real estate license in 2004. He worked at a leading real estate company and then in 2005 joined the newly formed Dillycrab Realty, which is now under the Coldwell Banker Lightbourn Realty umbrella.
Woody enjoys spending as much time as possible with his family, swimming, boating and travelling.
Woody has been awarded numerous designations within the Coldwell Banker network, including a 2018 President’s Circle award, placing him in the top 10% of over 92,000 Coldwell Banker agents worldwide.
