American Airlines Just Added More Nonstop Flights to the Island of Grand Bahama
Whether you’re fishing in West End, shopping in Port Lucia or savoring the natural beauty in Gold Rock Beach, if you know Grand Bahama you know just how fascinating a destination the island is.
As Grand Bahama works on its tourism renaissance (from a new airport project to a highly-anticipated Six Senses resort on the way), it’s about to get a major boost from the world’s largest airline.
American Airlines just returned to Freeport, Grand Bahama this week, with daily nonstop service out of Miami, Caribbean Journal has confirmed.
But that’s not all. Next month, American Airlines will ramping up that route to twice-daily service – a significant lift for fall travel to the island.
