British Virgin Islands Secures Trademarks Affirming Its Position as the World’s Sailing Capital
TORTOLA, British Virgin Islands – The British Virgin Islands has officially secured three new trademarks under the Territory of the Virgin Islands Trade Marks Act, 2013, further cementing its reputation as a premier sailing destination.
The newly registered trademarks are – The British Virgin Islands – Sailing Capital of the World; British Virgin Islands – The Undisputed Sailing Capital of the Caribbean and The British Virgin Islands – Sailing Capital of the Caribbean™
Each mark has been formally registered for a period of 10 years, beginning May 7, 2024, underscoring the British Virgin Islands’ unmatched sailing, vibrant yachting culture and as a leader in the global sailing community.
