From the sparkling new  Sandals Royal Curacao to its always-dynamic capital, Curacao is in the midst of a travel boom — with travelers continuing to flock even in the typically slower summer season. 

Even last month, normally one of the slowest of the year on the Dutch Caribbean island, Curacao welcomed 50,123 stayover visitors — a 13 percent jump compared to June 2023. 

It’s a “remarkable” number of arrivals, the Curacao Tourist Board told  Caribbean Journal in s statement, a testament to a continued surge in demand for the island.
