Another top Caribbean carnival is making its long-awaited return. 

Grenada’s Spicemas is back this summer, with the festivities launching on Aug. 8 and 9. 

“We are thrilled by the return of Spicemas this summer. It is undoubtedly a highlight of the year for locals and visitors alike, showcasing the best entertainment and culture that Grenada has to offer. We look forward to welcoming revelers who return year after year and first timers for this unique and all-immersive event,” said Petra Roach, CEO of the Grenada Tourism Authority.

The legendary Bimini Big Game Club in The Bahamas has debuted a new eatery. 

It’s called the Bimini Seafood Company and Conch Bar, and while it’s set in the same location at the resort’s signature upstairs restaurant, it’s a brand new concept. 

It’s “all of what you loved about Bimini Big Game Bar & Grill but with delicious food and drink offerings in an expanded menu,” the resort tells Caribbean Journal. 

That includes a variety of Bahamian and American dishes. 

And it comes with a four-page drink menu. 

The hotel itself has long been one of the region’s most famous adventure hotels.

The US Virgin Islands, among the biggest tourism success stories of the pandemic, has announced a major updates to its entry rules: the lifting of all restrictions for American travelers. 

That means U.S. citizens traveling from the US mainland and other territories will no longer be required to complete the US Virgin Islands Travel Screening Portal to travel to the destination.
