There’s always an analog. There’s always a place it reminds you of, a hotel just like one you’ve seen in another destination.

And then you come here — and you realize that there isn’t one.

It’s a bit of a journey to get to here — a nonstop flight to St Kitts, a drive along the rugged coastal road, a search for a sign and a trip up the foothills of a volcano.

But when you arrive here, it’s not just that the journey was worth it. It’s that the journey was to a different destination than you imagined.

This is Belle Mont Farm, and it’s a totally different hotel for the Caribbean.

Jamaica is now developing its renewable-energy potential at a leading pace among its Caribbean neighbours with support from private investment, says David Delaire, managing director, Germany-based MPC Capital.

With so much destruction during Hurricane's Irma and Maria over a year ago, I am thrilled to report most of the best beaches and waterfront hotels are back in action with quite a few of them better than before. The perfect retreat for millions of tourists worldwide, the Caribbean not only offers up an amazing escape from cold winter climates but also creates memories to last for a lifetime. Some of my finest memories include floating in the bathtub-warm waters of Aruba, sailing in the British Virgin Islands, deep sea fishing in Nicaragua and countless others. I have become a bit of a beach aficionado having personally visited most of these beaches and am excited to present my favorites for 2019.
